Dave received a Bachelor's of Arts degree, with honors, from Tulane University in 2000. He had a dual major in history and political science. In 2004, he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New England School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Dave is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, a member of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® board of directors and delegate to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). He is a member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents. He also has earned his Certified Buyer Representative designation and Loss Mitigation Certification. The North Shore Association of REALTORS® named him the 2006 Rookie of the Year.

Dave is the 2009 President of the North Shore Association of REALTORS® (NSAR).

In 2008, Dave was honored as one of the country's 30 Most Outstanding REALTOR® Under 30 by NAR's REALTOR® Magazine.

In 2007, Dave chaired the Government Affairs Committee at NSAR and served on the Board of Directors. In 2008, Dave co-chaired the Technology Task Force and served on the Business Planning Committee, Nominating Committee, Government Affairs Committee, and Bylaws Task Force.
